Tom Misch enlists his fellow South Londoner Loyle Carner on this groovy jazz, soul and hip-hop mixture, the new single “Water Baby“. It’s the third single to be elevated from his debut full-length album Geography, due on 6th of April.
It’s not the first time these two friends are teaming up on a track, one of the previous works, “Damselfly” was featured on Loyle Carner’s debut album Yesterday’s Gone, which was nominated for Mercury prize.
“Water Baby” follows the other singles from the upcoming Geography – “Movie” and “South of the River“. The signature Tom Misch’s style, blending hip-hop beats and soulful melodies, makes us impatiently wait for more singles.
