Tracy Morgan lands a role in new comedy show on FXX


Saturday Night Live veteran and 30 Rock regular Tracy Morgan has landed a role on a new comedy series that has been picked up by the FXX Channel. It has not yet been disclosed what the plot of this TV show will be but it will be produced by Glenn Howerton, Rob McElhenney and Charlie Day who created the show ‘It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Morgan recently finished an eight-year stint on the TV show 30 Rock and since then, he has attached his name to numerous projects. He is working on another pilot show for FX called Death Pact and a stand-up special on Comedy Central.
