Most debut features don’t look this good. The trailer for Liam Gavin‘s directorial debut, A Dark Song, is a dark blend of occult whispers, black magic mystery and foreboding horror. It’s been making the rounds at various film festivals and the word coming out of each of them is that it’s best to go into the film knowing as little as possible.
What we do know is that the film follows two strangers who are locked together in a house for an arduous ritual that spans months. It’s best to leave it at that, let the trailer speak for itself and get excited.
The film stars Catherine Walker and Steve Oram, and hits cinemas and VOD on Friday, April 28. It’ll almost definitely be better than Ouija.
