Showtime has dropped a new trailer for season three of the eerily spectacular hit show Penny Dreadful. The new season of the psychological horror series will see main character Vanessa Ives (Eva Green) possibly spending some time in an asylum (as hinted by the white padded room she occupies in the trailer), after the many challenges her characters had to face in season two.
Production for the new season has already begun, and alongside other recurring characters, including Sir Malcolm (Timothy Dalton), Ethan Chandler (Josh Hartnett), Dorian Grey (Reeve Carney), Sembene (Danny Sapani) and Dr. Frankenstein (Harry Treadaway), Pati LuPone will be making a return to the series in a full time role and actor Shazad Latif(The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel) is set to join the show as the infamous Dr. Henry Jekyll.
The new season of Penny Dreadful will premiere on Sunday, May 1, 2016.
