Radius-TWC has released the first trailer for Chris Evans‘ Before We Go, starring the Captain America actor himself, alongside Star Trek: Into Darkness actress Alice Eve. The film follows the story of a couple of strangers who find themselves stranded in New York City over night, after missing the 1:30 train. The two become closer as the hours draw on, and their unlikely union changes their lives forever.
Before We Go is Evans’ directorial debut, and was screened at TIFF last year, but didn’t capture too much attention. The film is a small-scale, simple story – which has gained a higher profile over the last year as lead-actor-turns-director becomes more and more prominent in the industry, following Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s Don Jon and Ryan Gosling’s Lost River over the last two years. Before We Go is set for a September 2015 release. You can watch the trailer below.
