Joy is a much anticipated film which reunites Jennifer Lawrence, Bradley Cooper and Robert De Niro after the success they had on Silver Linings Playbook. The director is David O. Russell, the man behind Silver Linings Playbook (2012) and American Hustle (2013). What is interesting is the fact that Joy is the third film directed by Russel in which Lawrence and Cooper have important roles.
The synopsis for Joy reads: “Joy is the story of a family across four generations and the woman who rises to become founder and matriarch of a powerful family business dynasty“. Joy will be released in the UK cinemas on January 1, 2016. Until then let’s watch together the just released TV spot for Joy titled ‘Dream’.
