Lidl will be joining the likes of Asda, Sainsbury’s and Tesco by branching out into women’s wear. The chain, which is known for its inexpensive prices and foreign goodies, will be unveiling their line on Monday, August 25. Customers will be able to rifle through skinny jeans, denim shirts and faux leather jackets, all at a budget price.
The line is set to rival the likes of Sainsbury’s Tu, Asda’s George and Tesco’s F&F. The collection is a far cry from the chain’s previous clothing range which mostly consisted of cheap but sturdy outerwear. The new line promises to be on trend and of high quality, with ankle boots selling at £9.99 and jeans at £6.99. Customers will have to wait and see as to how the line will compare to a firm favourite that is Primark.
