Wilderness Festival Reveals 2022 Line-Up With Underworld, Years & Years, Peggy Gou And Jungle

From August 4 – 7 this year, Wilderness Festival will deliver the ultimate sensory experience encompassing music and the arts, as well as exquisite food, thought-provoking talks, a wellness sanctuary, outdoor activities, a Family Field, and beautiful lakes.

Taking place in Oxfordshire, It will be the perfect weekend getaway for those who want to immerse themselves in a festival and leave their mark.

Superstar DJ and recording artist Peggy Gou is adding the Wilderness Festival to her worldwide trip for a scorching show, with the Queen of disco Róisn Murphy and multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Jordan Rakei also confirmed for this year’s electrifying line-up, alongside Underworld, Years & Years, and Jungle.

The cheerful soul duo Gabriels will bring the true sounds of gospel music to this year’s event, while veteran broadcaster and DJ Craig Charles will perform a unique live set of vintage funk and soul vibes.

Sax and drums duo Binker and Moses, electronic afro-funk band Ibibio Sound Machine, Oxfordshire-born musician Willie J Healey, instrumental musician Billie Marten, thrilling House-meets-Gospel group House Gospel Choir and indie-pop musician Azure Ryder are also among the genre-defying artists performing at the festival.

With wood dancefloors that light up when the sun goes down, late-night revelers at Wilderness may dance until the early hours of the morning in The Valley, which features DJ sets by Grammy-award-winning record producer and DJ David Morales, underground club legend Derrick Carter, and Irish-born producer Krystal Klear, all under a starlit canopy.

As well as a fully-stacked arts, theatre, debate and wellness itinerary, Wilderness’ eating experiences among the woods and lakes are unrivalled, offering long table feasting. The arrival of British chef Skye Gyngell, one of the country’s most acclaimed female chefs, will be a celebration of her seasonal-focused menu at her restaurant Spring.

Chefs Niklas Ekstedt and Adam Handling, both Michelin-starred chefs, will undertake a zero-waste feast that reflects the ethos of their sustainably run restaurants and pubs. Will Devlin of The Small Holding, one of the UK’s first Michelin Green Star winners, will also present a menu featuring fresh and local ingredients

The Wilderness Kitchen will be handed over by The Social Pantry, which will serve the UK’s only Vegetarian & Vegan Feast, with aims to be the UK’s first and only zero-waste caterer.
