XXXTentacion Estate Unveil Unreleased Tracks As NFTs | Music News

It has just been announced that the estate of deceased rapper XXXTentacion will be releasing a few unofficial tracks from the rapper as NFTs.

His mother Cleopatra Bernard and his manager Solomon ‘Sounds’ Sobande has teamed up with Yellowheart to market his tracks in an NFT auction this month.

According to Rolling Stone magazine, five tracks will be released that have never had the opportunity to be commercially released, as the tracks are only available on the SoundCloud platform.

In addition to these five tracks, previously unreleased video footage from his one and only 2017 tour will also be made available in the NFT auction.

His manager Solomon Sobande said, “Although they were all big on SoundCloud, we never had the opportunity to monetize them or bring them off-platform. Some of these songs aren’t even on his SoundCloud page anymore. There are just the remnants of them being reposted. These were the songs that built his career and led up to the explosion he had”.

XXXTentacion passed away in 2018 at the age of 20 following a shooting in Florida, but his team wants to continue sharing his legacy. At the moment, we don’t know the price or details on NFTs but the auction will launch on May 10 and end on May 15.
