With YG’s debut album My Krazy Life dropping in a few days on March 18, one collaboration on the album pairs him with fellow Compton native and Grammy Award-nominated rapper Kendrick Lamar. The duo connect on the track “Really Be (Smokin N Drinkin)“, produced by Ty Dolla $ign. YG opens up about the pressures in his life that he has had to deal with from providing for his family to protecting himself.
“If I don’t make it with this rap s**t, ni**a, I might be homeless”, YG confesses, whilst K-Dot gets real about his past. “Meanwhile, I’m grindin’ ’cause drug money ain’t like rap money / Four white kilos, snow bunny, equals one whole show, dummy”, he raps.
