Young Braves, an emerging four-piece from Shopshire, have unveiled a new single titled “Hunters”. The rejuvenating alt-pop anthem is their fourth release this year and follows the acclaimed tunes “1984” and “Sleep It Off”.
Even though Jacob Ferguson, Max Powell and brothers Ollie and Elliot Scott started playing music together back in their school years, it was only around eighteen months ago that they began releasing songs under the moniker of Young Braves.
Bringing to mind such artists as Foals, The Temper Trap and Kings of Leon with a hint of October/War-era U2, Young Braves have already been spotted by some influential taste makers.
Their earlier single “1984” was named Record of The Week by BBC Introducing Shropshire and “Sleep It Off” received plays from BBC 6 Music and BBC Introducing on Radio 1 with Huw Stephens. The track also appeared on Spotify’s Hot New Bands playlist.
Now Young Braves, who have already opened for the likes of The Amazons and The Sherlocks, are back with a new energising indie-rock gem. Full of infectious guitar hooks, “Hunters” combines powerful vocals from singer Ollie Scott with the band’s signature rambling percussion and bright keys.
