Ricky Whittle Accuses ‘The 100’ Producer Of ‘Bullying’ Him | TV News

Former Hollyoaks actor Ricky Whittle, who previously starred in the American post-apocolyptic drama series The 100 has spoken out about his departure from the show, especially his unhappiness of his treatment by the show’s producer Jason Rothenberg.

Speaking on an episode of Afterbuzz TV, he states “This is going to be the most controversial thing I will say, is that basically Jason Rothenberg abused his position to make my job untenable. What he did was disgusting and he should be ashamed. He was professionally bullying me, cutting out all the storyline I was supposed to be doing, cutting lines, cutting everything out, trying to make my character and myself as insignificant as possible“.

Whittle also expressed dissatisfaction for the writing, which was giving his character “literally nothing” to do on the show. Whittle argues that the reason for this was that “Jason was trying to cut me out and it was childish, it was immature, it’s narcissistical, really“.

This follows Whittle’s character Lincoln, who was killed off in the show. However, fans of the actor can remain calm, as you will see him again shortly in the upcoming adaptation of American Gods. Take a look at Whittle’s appearance on AfterBuzz TV below!
