‘X Factor’ Hosts Given Phone Ban | TV News
X Factor hosts Caroline Flack and Olly Murs have been banned from going on their phones whilst hosting the ITV talent show. Simon Cowell doesn’t want them to go onto social media and get upset over abusive comments made by viewers.
Whilst judges are encouraged to tweet about their acts, Flack and Murs will have to concentrate solely on the job at hand. After last Saturday’s show, Flack took to twitter to respond to internet trolls. “It’s very easy to take a shot at someone online. The vile comments about my weight and just all round look tonight are quite shocking“, she stated, “… have never said I’m the prettiest or thinnest or even anything special… But thank god I’m not horrible… Cool attitudes“.
