Youtube Red Takes On The ‘Jumper’ Universe With ‘Impulse’ | TV Trailer
Film directors often have a film that they aren’t happy with. For Doug Liman who also directed Bourne Identity it’s his 2008 film Jumper. It was based on a novel by Steven Gould and followed a young man who discovers he has the ability to teleport. Now he got his chance to make it better with the adaption of the third book of this series.
Impulse is the title of the ten-episode show. It tells the story of Henry, a 16-year old, rebellious girl who has always felt a little bit different than the others and therefore was pretty isolated. Everything changes for the girl when she discovers she has the ability to teleport after a traumatic encounter with a classmate.
Henry is portrayed by Maddie Hasson. She is joined in the cast by Missi Pyle, Sarah Desjardins, Enuka Okuma, Craig Arnold and David James Elliott. It will probably premiere this summer on Youtube Red.
Other than that writing helps me to flee the reality and experience not just one life but hundreds of them. Why choose one if you can have many, right?
