Japan and Britain have never been so close: Kero Kero Bonito are back in all their cross-over craziness we adore. The UK-based trio just released their new single today, after having played at extremely popular festivals The Great Escape and Field Day, as well as having had two sold-out shows in London.
“Break” features a comeback to the original atmosphere of KKB’s debut – a slow electro jam with an upbeat melody and almost spoken verses. It’s definitely a drastic change from the house-y “Lipslap” which makes us curious about what direction their second album will take.
Alongside the song, KKB released a music video for it, which shows lead singer Sarah Midori Perry literally taking a break from life in the most disparate location across the globe. Watch the clip below and “slow down the pace“!
