Since last week (September 11), the second floor of the London Saatchi Gallery has been open to the public, as it pays tribute to late designer Coco Chanel and her home. We got a quick sneak preview of the photographs that depict 31 Rue Cambor in all its glory, capturing the designers spirituality and her life through photographic and ornamental evidence and her unique sense of style through her home. Her mystical and alluring touch of Chanel filled every corner and contradicted Coco’s overall trademark look of black and white. The photographer Sam Taylor Johnson gushed to Grazia on the experience saying “I did not need to capture it because it was all there”. If you are a fashion lover or lust after Chanel you don’t want to miss the opportunity to set foot and capture the essence of a legend first hand.
