The conscious pop artist RENAE, real name Cristi Renae Vaughan, released her new single “Signs” on January 24. This sound is the theme track of her new album of the same name, about the signs of the Zodiac. This album is composed of 12 songs, one for each sign, which will be released monthly throughout the year 2020, in accordance with the corresponding Zodiac season.
The artist, along with her production partner and husband Matt Naylor, has worked with such famous names as Meghan Trainor, 5 Seconds Of Summer, Julia Michaels, Troye Sivan, and Morgxn.
The duo has also penned placements for series, films and trailers such as Kingsman: The Golden Circle, Gone Girl, Lincoln, X-Men and others.
In 2018, the artist released her first album Align, which was about the 7 chakras. Accompanying this album, she did several “meditation-concerts” where audiences were immersed in a live journey of pop and meditation music while wearing wireless headphones.
RENAE draws inspiration from ancient wisdom through her sounds so that listeners can use them as a remedy for the growing stress level in today’s world. Astrology has always been for the artist a great source of inspiration for her personal development. She wants to share this wisdom with her listeners through music.
