Great American Canyon Band are proud to share “Fade Away”, their first new music since the acclaimed 2016 debut album Only You Remain.
While being created within an unprecedented time and place, Great American canyon Band’s new song has a victorious and definitive feeling to it. Paul and Kris Masson’s song writing achieves a beautiful and powerful mix between sensitivity and urgency. The topics and concepts are intriguing, voyeuristic even.
When the band initially appeared on the scene, they received plaudits from publications like NPR, Stereogum, and AV Club, among others. The songs for the band were written by husband-and-wife team Paul and Kris Masson, with help from lead guitarist Matt Boyer. Their eagerly awaited (by both the band and their fans) comeback is “Fade Away.”
The Great American Canyon Band’s first studio album, Only You Remain, was released in 2016 on Six Degrees Recordings. The album received favourable reviews from critics as well as millions of listens and editorial placements on Spotify.
The band promoted the album in 2016 and 2017, touring the nation and playing at events including Noisepop and SXSW while also receiving airplay on notable radio stations, such as WXPN, KCRW and WNYC.
