With an issue that involves how growing up is ‘hard to explain’ and based in the age where nothing fits, i-D Magazine, the most distinctive of alternative British culture has revealed ‘The Coming of Age’ issue, starring Willow Smith – one of the most interesting young minds these days.
The issue talk about if the young generation can be wiser than the one before, and focuses on those who are discovering and exploring their creativity, the ones producing work with a heart of sensibility, generates new ideas and bringing back the true meaning of ‘making you feel’. i-D has its attention not only on Smith, but also photographer Ryian McGingle, dancer Maddie Ziegler, Demna Gvasalia and Marine Vacth.
I do agree in this fact, younger artists are creating more delicate forms of art, with substance; its mind blowing and stimulating that these young people are caring about actually being human and allowing themselves to feel and share this experience, with a world and technology-destroying society, now so locked up and devoid of any feelings and thoughts.
