Despite X Factor finalist Louisa Johnson dropping out of an appearance in Liverpool due to illness, she is surprisingly still expected to compete in the final this weekend. The singing sensation was set to attend her homecoming performance; which sadly had to be cancelled at the last minute. A spokesman revealed: “Louisa has been sick and was ordered on voice rest yesterday, so her homecoming performance unfortunately had to be cancelled at the last moment”.
No need to fret though! For the singer mentored by Rita Ora is still set to perform this Saturday in the live final. A spokesman continued: “We do expect her to be well enough to perform in the final though”. The 17 year old is will face off against fellow contestants Reggie ‘n Bollie and Che Chesterman for the winning title. Naturally, Johnson felt extremely gutted and apologetic towards the city of Liverpool, where her mother is originally from. She used Twitter to vent her frustration and justification, stating her voice “needs to be perfect”.
