Kelsey Byrne, the young talent behind VÉRITÉ, is promoting her upcoming EP, Living, which is expected to be released on Friday, May 6. The next and third promotional single is the song, “Gesture”, which follows up on previous effort, “Constant Crush”. In support of the EP, VÉRITÉ will be doing a 12-date North American headline tour in mid-May.
It opens with some bass, sounding a tad like a double bass. This is then accompanied by vocals, tuneful and then taking flight. After this is drum machine, turning it into something approaching dance music. Then there is the backing vocals, giving it a bigger sound and being possibly multi tracked versions of her own vocals. The bass takes on a slightly more bottomless, less human aspect, before acapella vocals close the track.
