Game of Throne’s season five finale featured all the usual chaos including character deaths, cliffhangers and one of the show’s most shocking scenes to date! All the more reason for fans to count down the days till season six of the hit HBO show begins. It is still several months until that day comes, but fortunately more fan theories, secrets and rumours about what to expect in season 6 keep on appearing.
Season 6 will see more of Daenerys (Emilia Clarke), Arya (Maisie Williams), Cersei (Lena Headey), Jamie (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau), Littlefinger (Aidan Gillen) and Tyrion (Peter Dinklage). It will also see the return of Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead) and Hodor (Kristian Nairn), who I assume were busy chilling with the Three-Eyed Raven during season 5.
Few new characters are yet to be announced for season 6, but one that has been, is Theon Greyjoy’s (Alfie Allen) eldest brother, Euron – a ruthless pirate who allegedly cuts out the tongues of those who serve him, he sounds like he will be one to watch, or rather avoid! It is also rumoured that the show might feature new flashback sequences with Ned Stark (Sean Bean) in which we may finally discover if there is any truth in the theories about Jon Snow’s (Kit Harrington) birth.
There is also good news for all Targaryen fans out there as the special effects team have enlarged Dany’s dragons from a wingspan of 60 feet to 120 feet! There are certainly exciting things to come! Game of Thrones season 6 is set to air in April 2016.
