2016 is set to be a highly exciting and life-changing year for Anne Hathaway, as she is set to give birth to her first child with husband Adam Shulman. Even though, she has never officially confirmed her pregnancy she’s not shy about showing of her beautiful baby bump.
In a new Instagram pic, Hathaway beat the paparazzi at their own game by posting a bikini selfie where we get a good look at how far along she is. It’s a stunning photo and it’s the perfect way to fire back at pesky and invasive paparazzi. She posted a lengthy caption along with the photo, explaining the rather unusual photo and her decision to step outside of her comfort zone.
“So, posting a bikini pic is a little out of character for me, but just now while I was at the beach I noticed I was being photographed. I figure if this kind of photo is going to be out in the world it should at least be an image that makes me happy (and be one that was taken with my consent. And with a filter :)”.
I can’t blame her for wanting to take back a little control, and be the one to update her fans on her pregnancy. I totally understand her wanting to send out a picture she is proud of and feels comfortable in. It’s on her terms – like it should be. You go, Anne.
