Austrian band Sharktank have just released their first single “Get It Done” from their forthcoming album of the same name, due in June.
The Austrian-based indie x hip-hop crossover group was formed by Mile, Katrin Paucz and Marco Kleebauer. In their latest track, the artists deal with irony and the bitter reality of life on a rhythmic, slightly rocking instrumental that makes you want to conquer the world.
The band is very young but already very successful. Since their formation last year, many of their singles, such as “Washed Up”, “Too Much” and, more recently, “For Myself”, have been played on radio stations all over Europe.
The very soul of this trio is their spontaneity and making music because it’s what they love to do and it’s fun, and that’s probably the key to their success. That’s also what the band confers on their upcoming debut album Get It Done.
However, there is only one problem. Sharktank still doesn’t know what it’s like to be on stage. The pandemic has disrupted all their concert dates. But to remedy this, the trio did things their own way and released several live videos, which have created quite a buzz. Music connoisseur Michel Attia even recommended the band in a list entitled ‘Sound of Music 2021’.
We can’t wait for the concerts to resume so that this Austrian trio can set the crowd on fire.
