Balenciaga Launch New Capsule Collection With Metal Band Rammstein | Fashion News


Earlier this week, Balenciaga artistic director, Demna Gvasalia, unveiled a new playlist on Apple Music curated by Rammstein to mark a new collaboration between the label and metal band.


The playlist include music from artists such as Slipknot, Korn, Led Zeppelin, Lana Del Ray and Arctic Monkeys to back a collection of original limited edition fashion items that Balenciaga and Rammstein have collaborated to release for fans.


This capsule collection includes unreleased vintage merch from past Rammstein tours, but also contains unisex hoodies, fanny packs, backpacks, t-shirts, caps and raincoats. However, the capsule has been met with mixed reviews across the board, with some social media users debating the lack of originality and prices of these pieces, which are being sold from 350 euros.


In a series of photographs taken by Gottfried Helnwein, fans of the group are dressed in the capsule collection, integrated into their rooms full of posters of the band.


It is assumed that more Balenciaga collaborations are to be expected, with Demna Gvasalia’s other favorite artists.
