US rapper Kid Cudi has announced a new partnership with the streetwear brand BAPE.
It can be said that artists have ad a long term relationship with streetwear brands, and there are a lot of collaboration between artists and different ready-to-wear brands, like the collaboration between Beyonce and Adidas for example.
What is even more intriguing with this Kid Cudi and Bape collaboration is that the rapper had already worked at the BAPE shop in New York before launching his Man on the Moon album franchise. He later worked with the brand to release small capsules such as limited edition T-shirts.
But this time, according to Complex, the rapper and BAPE have decided to work together on a larger capsule with 20 pieces. This also makes it the biggest collection that the BAPE brand has ever worked on with an artist.
Fans will be able to find throughout this collection, many pieces such as jackets, sweatshirts, sweatpants, cardigans, caps, jeans, but also Kid Cudi in the shape of baby Milo, moon man motifs, shark and tiger motifs and much more.
