Two animation stories, one very excited stone. The new animated Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas is still happening, if you didn’t know, Illumination Entertainment now having cast Benedict Cumberbatch as the titular hero/villain.
In other Illumination news, South Park co-creator Trey Parker has been announced as the main antagonist of Despicable Me 3, making his first time voicing a character not of his creation.
He will play Balthazar Bratt, a former 80s child star who’s grown up rather obsessed with the character who made him famous. Steve Carell is to reprise his role as Gru, also playing his long lost brother Dru in teh upcoming feature.
