On September 7, BNXN, previously known as BUJU, released his newest single, “Sweet Tea“. This promising artist, who has introduced a fresh subgenre with his riveting voice, is now all set to launch his debut album, aptly titled Sincerely, Benson. True to his word, BNXN describes his forthcoming album, stating, “This is as sincere as it gets.”

BNXN’s trajectory in the music world has been nothing short of meteoric. Since the release of his Sorry I’m Late EP in 2021, his career has taken a steep ascent. His subsequent Bad Since 97 EP has garnered an astounding 1.5 billion streams, cementing his reputation as a force to be reckoned with. Such accomplishments have rightfully earned him the title of the 2022 Headies ‘Next Rated Artist’.

The Nigerian artist’s global impact is undeniable. Not only has he sold out the renowned O2 Institute, but his collaboration on “Propeller” with UK rapper Dave on Jae5 also secured a spot in the Official UK Top 40 charts.

Another single, “Finesse”, peaked at 52 in the UK charts and even found its way onto Barack Obama’s playlist. BNXN’s versatility is further highlighted by his collaborations with a star-studded list of artists including Wizkid, Zlatan, Burna Boy, and more.

Following the success of recent singles “Pray” and “GWAGWALADA”, which featured the likes of Kizz Daniel & Seyi Vibez, BNXN embarked on a ten-date European tour, aptly named ‘Bad Since 97’. This Lagos vocalist’s unique approach challenges traditional African music norms, establishing him as a standout in the contemporary music landscape.

BNXN, with his innovative artistry, has solidified his position at the forefront of the next generation of musical stars. And, showing no signs of deceleration, he has unveiled plans for the ‘Sincerely, Benson’ US tour, set to captivate audiences across 13 venues in the upcoming October and November.
