Charli XCX Releases ‘Spinning’ In Collaboration With The 1975 And No Rome | Music News

Pop star Charli XCX announced on February 28 that she was “forming a supergroup” with The 1975 and No Rome (born Guendoline Rome Viray Gomez). A 17-second excerpt of the future banger “Spinning” was subsequently published on the English singer’s Instagram account with the caption “are u ready for spinning…?”

Earlier this week, Charli posted an Instagram picture of a cartoon version of herself on a psychedelic background, writing, “formed a supergroup with @no_rome @trumanblack & @bedforddanes75 our song spinning drops march 4th pre-save at the link in my bio get ready for the cutest video of all time”.

No Rome and Matty Healy from The 1975, has also posted a series of trippy clips from the video, including one of the three with a hypnotic background and a solo shot of a comic Healy wearing headphones and a horn-shaped hat.

In 2019, Healy had already let it slip that he was working with Charli by telling fans through Twitter that he had produced a song with No Rome and 1975 drummer George Daniel.

Spinning, with its ambient music, puts everyone in agreement and is the perfect song to turn heads as soon as the dancefloor reopens. You can now listen to “Spinning”, Chali XCX’s new track with The 1975 and No Rome below.
