There is a new collaboration in the air for American EDM trio Cheat Codes. The three DJs will join forces with UK band Little Mix for the upcoming single “Only You“.
The news comes directly from the dance/electronic DJs trio, who have previewed on their twitter a snippet of the song. From the short teaser, “Only You” sounds like a guitar-based love ballad that evokes a blissful young love, as Little Mix sing “once upon a time we had it all/one brick at a time we watch it fall/ I’m broken here tonight and no one else can fix me/ only you.”
Little Mix are serving as main vocalists while it’s easy to predict that Cheat Codes’ bumpy tunes will jump on the track once the chorus takes off. “Only You” marks the first time collaboration between the Uk band and the American trio of DJs.
Little Mix are slowly becoming a global phenomenon, boasting features and collaborations with artists from all over the world. Their last one was on the song “Reggaeton Lento” by Latin boyband CNCO.
Cheat Codes, likewise, have been heavily played on the radio after having their lucky break with the single “No Promises” featuring American-Latino popstar Demi Lovato. The guys are also fresh off the release of their debut album, Level 1, on June 8.
