BBC’s Children In Need smashed last years total of £32.6m by raising a record-breaking £37.1m. Year on year a new record is set and 2015 was no different with last nights donations amounting to almost £5m more to that of 2014.
After Sir Terry Wogan was forced to pull out for “health reasons”, Dermot O’Leary stepped in to replace the 77 year-old to host this years fundraiser. With appearances from the likes of Martin Freeman, One Direction and Selena Gomez, the total amount raised was revealed to be a new record. Long may such records continue to be broken.
