Netflix’s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is getting into the Christmas spirit with a holiday special episode that is set to drop on Friday, 14th of December.
Yesterday morning, the series creator Roberto Aguirre Sacasa had tweeted: “Praise Satan! I mean, Praise Santa! Sabrina has a X-mas Special!!”
The American supernatural horror television series debuted 26th of October on Netflix with the pilot episode “Chapter One: October Country”. The Netflix series came to the streaming service with a two-season, 20-episode order. A release date for the second season has yet to be announced.
According to the log-line reported by Deadline, entitled “A Midwinter’s Tale”, the special episode will focus on the Church of Night’s celebration of the winter solstice, when families gather around the fire and sing carols as they tell ghost stories. The guests and visitors are both welcome and unwelcome.
Story elements of the episode will also be part of the series’ continuity.
Kiernan Shipka will return as the protagonist, Sabrina while Miranda Otto, Lucy Davis, Ross Lynch, Michelle Gomez, Chance Perdomo, Jaz Sinclair, Tati Gabrielle, Adeline Rudolph, Abigail Cowen and Lachlan Watson are all set to appear in the special.
Looks like this Christmas, Netflix’s content might get a little more… chilling.
