The iconic character of Mr. Big, played by the famous actor Chris Noth, will be featured in the upcoming Sex And The City update at HBO Max.
During the series, Chris Noth played the suitor of Carrie Bradshaw – played by Sarah Jessica Parker – and he will reincarnate the famous character for HBO Max‘s 10-episode sequel And Just Like That…, which is set to begin production this summer in New York.
“I’m thrilled to be working with Chris again on ‘And Just Like That…’ How could we ever do a new chapter of the ‘Sex And The City’ story without our Mr. Big?” said executive producer Michael Patrick King.
This new chapter of Sex And The City follows Carrie, Miranda (Cynthia Nixon), and Charlotte (Kristin Davis) as they navigate life and friendship in their 50s. Also featured is Sara Ramirez (Grey’s Anatomy), who will play Che Diaz, a non-binary, gay comedian who hosts a podcast on which Carrie appears.
Parker, Davis and Nixon are executive producers with Julie Rottenberg, Elisa Zuritsky, John Melfi and King. The writers are King, Samantha Irby, Rachna Fruchbom, Keli Goff, Rottenberg and Zuritsky.
There is currently no information about the release date, which will be on the HBO Max platform.
