Janet Jackson was honored during the BET awards in Los Angeles with the inaugural ‘Ultimate Icon: Music Dance Visual’ award. To celebrate the event, Tinashe, Ciara and Jason Derulo performed a special dance tribute to a medley of Janet Jackson songs that ended with a group performance of “Rhythm Nation”. This award comes after releasing her new track in just under a decade called “No Sleep“. Janet, who is also due to release an LP which is currently untitled, is set to begin hitting the road for her North American ‘Unbreakable’ tour come August.
