Clarks Collaborates With Nile Rodgers And Beabadoobee For ‘For The World Ahead’ Campaign

The renowned shoe brand, Clarks, has launched their ‘For The World Ahead’ campaign for Autumn/Winter 2023. In a bid to drive social progress and champion authentic connection, the brand will feature two music icons – Nile Rodgers, a celebrated Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee, and Beabadoobee, the critically acclaimed singer-songwriter.

Both artists will lend their voices and share their perspectives on self-expression, kindness, and generosity in the world to come. The campaign will showcase the autumn/winter avatar of Clarks’ latest silhouette, the Torhill. This design embodies the values of authenticity, originality, and progressiveness that both the brand and the artists resonate with.

Clarks’ Global Chief Marketing & Digital Officer, Tara McRae, emphasized the brand’s ethos, stating, “At Clarks, we feel that when we move together, small steps become big strides.” She went on to highlight how their shoes facilitate this journey and how a collaboration with Nile Rodgers and Beabadoobee epitomizes the brand’s commitment to shaping a better world.

In July, an event was hosted by Clarks to commemorate the partnership and to support the We Are Family Foundation (WAFF), a non-profit committed to fostering a global family spirit.

Nile Rodgers, dubbed the ‘Clarks dude’, commented on the profound influence of kindness in his life, attributing his ethos to his early life experiences and continued activism. Beabadoobee, on the other hand, emphasized the power of representation, drawing from her experiences as a Filipino musician in a predominantly white school and how discovering Asian women artists played a pivotal role in her life.

As for the product range, Clarks continues to set the bar high. From the ’90s-inspired Torhill Hi for men to the sleek Colden Up ankle boot for women, the collection promises a blend of expert craftsmanship, modern aesthetics, and cutting-edge comfort.
