Coachella Officially Set To Return In April 2022 | Music News

 

Following the ongoing pandemic-related cancellations and postponements, the legendary Coachella festival is coming back next spring!

 

The organizers have confirmed that the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is set to return for its first edition since 2019 and will take place on the weekends of April 15-17 and  April 22-24, 2022! Sales for advance tickets begin this Friday, June 4 at 10 am PT. Coachella have also offered flexible payment plan options, which are available at their website.

 

As usual, headliners for the upcoming event were not announced and are expected to be unveiled customarily early in the new year. However, YouTube has returned as Coachella’s livestream partner.

Just to give you a quick recap, Coachella 2021 was cancelled by the public health officer in Riverside County, California, after already having been rescheduled. As a matter of fact, last June the festival was canceled outright for the first time in 20 years.

 

Coachella 2020 was originally to feature Frank Ocean, Rage Against the Machine and Travis Scott as headliners with the full line up including Lana Del Rey, Lil Uzi Vert, Thom Yorke, Run the Jewels, Danny Elfman, FKA twigs, DaBaby, 21 Savage, Caribou, Lil Nas X and many more.
