Connie Nielsen To Star In Psychological Thriller ‘Follow Me’

Connie Nielsen (Gladiator, Wonder Woman) has signed on to star in psychological thriller Follow Me, which is being developed by Catalyst Studios. Siri Rødnes will direct from a script by Mark Pennell.

The film is being described as a tense psychological thriller with the twists and turns similar to a classic Hitchcockian thriller, pushing boundaries and blurring the lines between relationships to reveal that money, secrets, and deception are a deadly mix.

Of course, every other thriller claims to be Hitchcockian, so it’s hard to take much from that, but there aren’t any further details right now.

Catalyst is the new banner from social entrepreneur Holly Levow, Pennell, and Paul Kampf. It was formed to produce compelling, high-quality, and commercial feature films. The company recently unveiled its first project, Switch & Bait, which is directed by Michelle Salcedo and stars Otmara Marrero and Katie Clarkson-Hill.

Levow said in a statement: “Catalyst Studios was formed to deliver a slate of high-quality, fiscally conscious, commercially successful films with broad and identifiable audiences while giving new and visionary female filmmakers unique opportunities that have previously been scarce. Follow Me is the second Catalyst film to go into production based on our mission”.

Nielsen was last seen in Bob Odenkirk action film Nobody and six-part British psychological series Close to Me. She’s currently filming another thriller, this one titled Role Play, that will star Kaley Cuoco and David Oyelowo.

Filming for Follow Me is reportedly commencing imminently in Serbia.
