As if the premiere of the second season of Westworld wasn’t crazy and creepy enough, HBO had to drop a new teaser trailer for their upcoming mini-series. Adapted from the book from Gillian Flynn who also wrote Gone Girl, the series Sharp Objects will be one of the next shows to feature on the HBO network.
The limited eight-episode series tells the story of crime reporter Camilla Preaker who comes back to her hometown to investigate the murder of two young girls. This isn’t the only problem of the reporter as she was just released from a psychiatric center after a self-harm incident. The whole things forced the woman to face her own demons as the story goes way deeper than it seems on the first look.
The series stars Amy Adams, Patricia Clarkson, Chris Messina, Eliza Scanlen, Elizabeth Perkins and Matt Craven. The premiere is set for July this year on HBO.
