The new track “Soulmates” from emerging artist Faithlyn has finally arrived!
The dark pop artist Faithlyn speaks of betrayal, self-reflection toxicity and true love on her brand new record “Soulmates”. The track exposes the disastrous feeling that toxic love creates and sees Faithlyn explaining the emotional pain she went through. It is so relatable for many of us who have had been through unhealthy relationship that we hoped would last forever.
Produced by Luther Wong, Faithlyn speaks on her feelings over a darkened hazy beat. The echoed instrumental mirrors Faithlyn reflects perfectly Faithlyn battling with her own thoughts.
Faithlyn’s velvety low vocals and powerful rap lines make a perfect job in reflecting the vibe of the song. “Soulmates” is that kind of the track that will help you to overcome the tough relationship and free yourself while expressing your feelings through the song.
The singer was raised in Malaysia, bred in Singapore and New York City. Faithlyn is a Berklee College of Music graduate that loves pop, trap and hip hop. Her vision is grand and she aims at revolutionizing dark pop and pop trap in the industry! We wish her all the best on her music journey!
Speaking about the creation of the track, Faithlyn says, “I just want to say a big thank you to everyone who participated in this project and made it come to life […] It was a 14 hour long day but it hardly felt like that. I had so much fun letting you guys take the wheel and freely narrate this artistic vision – my applause goes to you. Cheers to many, many more creative ventures. Thank you a million billion times“.
