Disney Star Cameron Boyce Dies Aged 20 | TV News

Today, the world of television is mourning after the terrible news that young Disney actor Cameron Boyce passed away this past Saturday night while he was sleeping, due to a seizure.

When he was only seven years old, Cameron started his career in show business as a model, making his appearance in magazines and TV commercials for different brands, including the Disney Store. A year later, in 2008, he made his cinema debut when he appeared in the horror movie Mirrors.

However, Boyce achieved his full fame with Disney. First, with his role as Luke Ross in Jessie and then as Carlos de Vil in the popular TV movie series Descendants.

The terrible news was confirmed by his family through a spokesperson. “It is with a profoundly heavy heart that we report that this morning we lost Cameron“, their official statement statement.

After the massive number of messages received, Cameron’s dad tweeted, “I’m overwhelmed with the love and support our family has received. It really does help to ease the pain of this nightmare I can’t wake up from. I can’t thank you guys enough”.

The huge amount of tributes paid to the promising young star from his fellow actors confirm what we all suspected: Cameron Boyce was one of the nicest, funniest and most wonderful people in the industry.

Too young. Too sweet. Too funny. Just the nicest, most talented, and most decent kid around”. This is how Adam Sandler, who starred in the movie Grown Ups next to Boyce, remembered him.

His co-stars from Jessie have also posted a few words in order to pay tribute to his memory. “The boy who left everyone feeling hopeful and full of love” is how Peyton List described her colleague and friend.

Debby Ryan uploaded an emotional speech of Cameron to her Instagram story, but has has to shut off her Instagram comments on her most recent posts, as she must be feeling overwhelmed with all the comments posted by fans about Boyce.

Rest in peace, Cameron.
