Doctor Who has revealed a teaser trailer for its fast-approaching new season starring Peter Capaldi as the Doctor. The video shows Capaldi’s silhouette as he stands inside the legendary Tardis in a dominant pose. The words “The New Doctor Lands in August” are shown on the screen while thrilling, dramatic music is played in the background. The BBC uploaded the video via the Doctor Who Twitter account. Capaldi will show a more dark and sinister version of the warlord in the upcoming season, a far departure from the version played by the former doctor Matt Smith. The TV show will be broadcast in the UK in August 2014.
