A new image from the Fantastic Beasts sequel was unveiled yesterday, featuring a young Newt Scamander donning his Hufflepuff uniform, while a far less-bearded Albus Dumbledore (played by Jude Law in the sequel) watches on.
Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, the second installment of the fortunate spinoff of the Harry Potter franchise, will be hitting theatres November 16 and as the date draws closer, things are starting to hit up.
The trailer for the movie was released on March, and it certainly gave us some major action and spoilers, with a first look at Jude Law as a younger headmaster Albus Dumbledore and Johnny Depp in the role of the dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald.
Eddie Redmayne reprises his role as Newt, the young magical creatures’ expert who gets expelled from Howgwarts and now finds himself at odds with the Minister of Magic.
The film, which is expected to perform better than the previous one at the box office, will take up from where it left last time, with Newt boarding the ship and leaving New York. In the sequel, Newt will be heading to Paris to haunt down Gellert Grindelwald, who is planning on creating an army of pure-blood wizards (does it ring a bell?) in order to reign over all the non-magical beings.
If you are not excited yet, check out the new image just released below, as well as the other already out, and get ready for a magical November.
