They “love a bit of irony” and say “this song is all about those days when you think everyone around you is selfish and out to get you“. Ferris & Sylvester wanted a blues song that would be relevant to Londoners today. So here it is – the brand new “London’s Blues“.
It starts with humming, up-tempo finger clicking and breaks into a lovely and joyous track. It’s real luck that artists Issy Ferris and Archie Sylvester found each other and formed this dreamy country/folk duo with their voices in a perfect harmony.
This new track is taken from their upcoming second EP called Made In Streatham, which is due on February 2. In support of the release, they will have their London headline show on January 11, look out for tickets here.
Listen to “London’s Blues” below and make yourself aware of why Ferris & Sylvester are getting so much praise from Rolling Stone Magazine, BBC Radio, The Independent, Spotify and others.
