Welsh singing duo Into The Ark have announced the release of their newest acoustic single “Burning Love“. With a brand new video accompanying their latest cover of the Elvis Presley hit also, this serves as their first single of the new year following on from “Straight To Your Door“.
The duo, famously known for enchanting audiences on The Voice UK last year on Tom Jones‘ team, recorded the video live at the famous RAK Studios in London. Their cover is very stripped back but beautifully exposes their vocals and harmonies which allows the emotions to really come through.
Taylor Jones, one half of the duo, talked about their affinity to the song and the opportunity to release it on vinyl.
“We’ve played this song for a couple of years now and we really wanted to capture it live so we recorded it acoustically (at RAK) for the 7 inch… it’s a well travelled song – not just for Elvis – but for us too – and one that means so much to us and our journey and to say we’re proud of it coming out on vinyl is a massive understatement.”
Following a summer of touring across UK and Europe, part of which was spent with their former TV mentor, Into The Ark have also announced a UK tour in February & March 2018 with tickets available for purchase from their website.
