The first trailer for upcoming BBC and FX production Taboo has been released. The forthcoming eight episode miniseries follows an adventurer, James Delaney (Tom Hardy) who returns to Britain from Africa with fourteen stolen diamonds, and is forced on a quest of revenge after learning of the death of his father.
The Hollywood star and his father, Chips Hardy, came up with the story before handing it over to writer Steven Knight, who Hardy has previously worked with on the second series of Peaky Blinders. Other cast members include, Oona Chaplin, David Hayman, Michael Kelly and Jonathan Pryce. Taboo is expected to premiere next year. Take a look at the trailer below!
