The trailer for the second season of Fox’s smash hit hip-hop drama Empire has debuted online. Returning to the show for another season are season 1 stars Terrence Howard, who returns as Empire label owner Lucius Lyons, and Taraji P. Henson, returning as Lucius’ wife Cookie Lyons. Ta’Rhonda Jones and Gabourey Sibide, who play Portia Taylor and Becky Williams respectively, have been promoted to main cast members for the upcoming season. Season 1 of the show aired earlier this year on E4 in the UK. Season 2 of the hit series will premiere on Fox in the US on September 23, 2015.
