Francis and the Lights has teamed up with Bon Iver and Kanye West for his new track “Take Me To The Light”. The song leaked on TuneCore last night before its official release today. Apart from Kanye West and Justin Vernon, the track features contributions from Bhasker and Cashmere Cat.
Francis and the Lights is an American synth-pop project lead by Francis Farewell Starlite. “Take Me to the Light” is taken from the musician’s forthcoming third LP of the same name. The release date of the new album hasn’t been revealed yet.
Francis Farewell Starlite previously linked with Kanye West and Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon for “Friends”, a track that appeared on his 2016 album Farewell, Starlite!. Francis and the Lights also contributed to some of West’s studio albums, including the most recent one called ye.
Bon Iver released their highly-anticipated fourth LP titled i,i last month. It features the singles “Hey, Ma”, “U (Man Like)”, “Jelmore” and “Faith”. The artist also embarked on his North American Tour, which started in Bonner, Montana a few days ago.
Kim Kardashian recently shared a picture of what seemed to be the tracklist and release date of a new Kanye West record. According to Kim’s post the album called Jesus Is King will arrive on September 27.
