HALIE – Circling | New Music
Norwegian artist Halie, aka Hannah Emilie Grung, has recently shared a new pop single titled “Circling”. Halie is only eighteen years old, but has already achieved a great success. In particular, in 2018, her four singles, including “Youth” and “Not Yours”, topped several music charts and collected hundreds of thousands of Spotify plays.
In addition, the artist picked up fans in the likes of Wonderland Magazine, NME, The Line Of Best Fit and more. Despite this great and sudden success, Halie decided to fall silent in order to finish her studies and to write new songs.
“Circling” belongs to the singer’s group of new songs, which she wrote in this period of time. These songs will be featured in her upcoming new EP, expected to be released very soon. To create this new project, Halie has also teamed up with Emanuel Abrahamsson, who boasted Zara Larsson’s Lush Life within his catalogue.
“Circling” is a powerful track, which features electronic sounds and beats, atmospheric and powerful vocals and a catchy chorus. The song, as well as her previous track “Good Sings”, represents a manifesto for self-expression and emotional honesty. Moreover, the pop vibes of the track take inspiration from such artists as Charli XCX and Lorde.
