The American film producer, director and screenwriter Steven Soderbergh has released a new interactive project which is called Mosaic. Basically, it’s a six episodes mini-series that speaks about the mystery of the famous Olivia Lake murder.
Today, HBO has delivered the second trailer of this thriller, in order to explain how this project works. Indeed, earlier this month (November) it released a free app that all the viewers can now download in anticipation of the broadcast of the series. Thanks to this app, everyone watching Mosaic will explore a new storytelling experience that lets you choose your own path.
Everybody can choose the point of view from which to follow the story and each choices made will be built upon the other. This allows to see the series with different perspectives that will bring to different conclusion. You are also able to go back and experience the story again in a completely different way, after you finish to watching the series once.
With Olivia Lake played by Sharon Stone, the other members of the cast are: Garrett Hedlund, Frederick Weller, Beau Bridges, Paul Reubens, Jeremy Bobb and Maya Kazan.
Mosaic will be out this January with all the episodes broadcast in the traditional way. Check out the trailer below:
