HBO Release New Trailer For Season 7 Of ‘Game of Thrones’ | TV Trailer

HBO has released a second trailer for the penultimate season of Game of Thrones and it looks to be as bloody as ever. The Kingdoms are engulfed in war, alliances are being made, and the White Walkers are approaching.

With just under a month to go until the seventh season hits our screens, the new trailer does well to pump up fans of the hit show. The trailer is more action packed than the first released last month and promises epic battle scenes reminiscent of the Emmy winning episode “Battle of the Bastards”.

Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) appears to play a more important role this season, onlooked by Petyr Baelish (Aidan Gillen) who warns “Don’t fight in the North. Or the South. Fight every battle everywhere. Always. In your mind,” confirming suspicions that this season won’t be a peaceful one.

Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke), Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) and Jon Snow (Kit Harington) each renew their key roles as rulers in pursuit of power and peace.

Ramin Djawadi‘s hauntingly beautiful “Light of the Season” from last season’s finale plays in the background, promising more destruction in the episodes to come.

Season 7 is the first to not have ten episodes, instead limiting to seven, though the finale will clock in at 81 minutes.

Season 7 premieres on HBO on 16 July, followed by a UK premiere on July 17 where the show will be available on Sky Atlantic and NOW TV. In the meantime, watch the latest trailer for Game Of Thrones below:
